How to Plan the Perfect Valentine-Themed Birthday Party for Your Dog

My dog was turning 6 years old and I decided to throw an awesome love-themed birthday party for the sweetest girl. I wanted to do red & pinks with hearts & balloons. This is how I went about it.

Backdrop

I decided to use my kitchen island as my backdrop. This way, the decor will be at my dogs height and I don't have to prop her up for photos.

Supplies

  • Pink & Red balloons

  • A balloon arch decorating strip roll

  • 3M clear command hooks

  • Glue point stickers

  • Dog birthday theme gift wrapping paper

  • 'Lets Pawty' foil balloons

  • Double-sided tape.

  • Balloon blower.

Process

  • I attached the wrapping paper to the kitchen island using double-sided tape. I made sure the wrapping paper is strongly adhered to the island because we are going to attached the balloons on it.

  • After all the foil balloons were blown, I taped it to the wrapping paper. Then I started adding the colored balloons to the pendants above the island.

  • Next, I attached 3M hooks on the edge of the kitchen counter. Then I added balloons to the balloon arch strip and secured it to the hooks. I closed the gaps between the bigger balloons by adding smaller ones, using glue point stickers. This will make the balloon garland look fuller.

  • Now that I am satisfied with the look, it was time to pawty! I picked out a bandana with heart shapes for my dog & her friend to go with the theme.
